This site is offering (until 6/1/08) their after market LM portafilters for 11.64. I believe their minimum order is $20.

Having dealt with them, I can tell you it took me 2 weeks to get mine in the mail (I don't know if they screw up every order, but they did screw up mine). The triple baskets in their inventory are not synesso ridgeless by any means, but they're pretty big.

Either way it's a good price for a portafilter that can hold a legit triple basket.. otherwise chop it and go naked..

How is the quality?  Has anyone used it on a Silvia?

If it "fits most E61 machines", it's not a legit LM PF.

My factory LM PF needed some modification to fit my domestic E61 head.

It is most certainly not a legit LM PF.. It's completely after market. It's just made in the same vein..

I have both an OEM LM PF and this one and they both fit my Astra group. My Rancilio PF also fits.

These all have been modified in no way shape or form by me. I think it has to do with the depth of your group gasket.

It looks exactly like the La Marzocco style 15° angled portafilter (with 21 gram triple basket) from Ascasco that Terry Z offered to CG's here a number of years ago for the Silvia & started the rage.

It's been almost 5 YEARS now! http://www.coffeegeek.com/forums/espresso/machines/13248 Check my other posts in the thread too please for close up shots & comparisons.

I bought it back then & it's a great handle & also fits my Expobar Office Lever EB-61. {:-)

Can't find the "cheap" one you're referring to... the only one I've seen on EPNW is part L111/15D at 51$... far from the deal of Marzoccoman.

I know that, I linked to that part # @ EPNW above! I'm saying the cheap one (Marzoccoman) is no deal if they're gonna rip you on shipping.

You said it yourself, Quote: $69 shipping to Canada :(
