I hereby cease the Expobar Sale. CraigA, the first in line, has the machine.

I want to thank everyone for the interest. As I told CraigA, my offer to the forum was partly the result of my joy at being able to upgrade to a new machine/grinder (I'm waiting for a new Anita/MACAP deal from Chris Coffee), partly my wanting to make room for it, and partly wanting to give back to the espresso community who have been so good to me with information, support and enthusiasm!

I've learned so much from everyone here. Thanks.

Craig

I'm offering my Expobar Leva (Lever) for sale for $75 which should cover my packing and shipping costs to you.

I have had the machine for about three years. This machine has served me well, averaging 2-3 drinks a day.

The machine has one portafilter with three inserts: blank, single, and double. I have kept good care of the machine and the insides are quite clean. Bought at WLL. I've replaced the pump (year and a half ago), the hi-limit switch (recently) and the OPV (recently--a better model now, brass screw).

This machine needs work: recently the seam between the new OPV and the pump began to slowly leak and I decided it was time to let it go to someone who would want to work on it. I don't know enough about the insides to say exactly what needs to be worked on, but the pump works, there is good steam pressure as always, the gauge on front (when the machine is warmed up) is set between 1.0 and 1.2 Bars of pressure. Water faucet works fine, steamer works great (single hole standard).

I'm no handyman, but a clever one could fix this. I'm including a picture to give you an idea.

Please feel free to contact if you have questions.

Hello Craig,
I'll take it please! Is this a misprint? I can have it shipped to Queenston/Lewiston Buffalo NY area UPS (UPS facility & the customer pickup area) & I can take it from there. Do you take Paypal?

P.S. I also sent you an email Craig, 17 minutes after this post.

This could end up being one of the best deals of the year.  Lucky...that's a really nice machine.  The parts alone are worth many times that amount.

Craig and I have been e-mailing off-line....  I suggested that since the buyer got such an awesome deal, the least they can do is share their fix when they get the machine.

To the Buyer, when you get the machine up and going, please post your findings to this thread on HB:

Thanks!

This is the addendum update on one of my posts to you here @ this link "Re: Expobar Leva for Sale--needs some work" & quoted below.

P.S. It was a pleasure to greet/meet & chat with you on the broadband IP phone today @ 1:43pm Craig. {;-) I'll have a US postal money order made out to you by tomorrow.
