Every time I go to log in, the first time I enter my username and password, it accepts them and redirects me back to the forums; however, I am still not logged in at that point. I have to re-enter my username and password, and only after that second time am I redirected back and logged in. Is there a way around this?

I have the same issue. If you sign in on the home page, it usually is successful the first try.

thanks, and my experience too... signing in on the top of the forums page so I can scan the Updated Topics usually requires I double clutch the transmission.

I have suffered from this recently, as well. I have found signing in on the homepage at the top right hand corner works OK though.
