Hello everyone,

This idea has probably been thought of a hundred times … but I thought this might be a neat addition to the site.

I've noticed some posts lately, and in the past that may imply that some Geeks want some way to connect with fellow CG's in their hometowns, when traveling, or when relocating to a new city.

I thought it would be cool to have some sort of "Geek Locator" feature that would enable CG's to actively search for Geeks in their area. Not sure if something like this would interfere with privacy issues, but it could be databased by some sort of list members could choose to join.

Maybe even an online listing of geographic areas by (Country, states, province, city, towns etc) that would contain such topics as *Best coffee hotspots_ *Geeks in town _ *Upcoming events?

I dunno. maybe dumb. But I thought it would give geeks the opportunity to get together out side of the site and enjoy great coffee and espresso or host other related events.

Just another idea that popped in my head at work as I thought the demand for a feature like this might be widely desired. Hope all is well.

~Cheers

Neat thing to put in a GPS system, i.e. Espresso establishments.  They could pay a small fee or whatever to get listed.
