Hi- I have been making cappuccinos daily for about five years on my Pavoni lever machine, and for the first time, the milk is tasting metallic. This is embarrassing because I slammed a local coffeeshop for the same thing not so long ago... I have removed the frothing wand and tried to scrub out the tip with a q-tip. Still, when I first release steam, it smells somewhat of chlorine, and then when I froth the milk, it has a metallic taste. I am using filtered water that tastes fine. The only thing that has changed recently in my rig is that I installed a new pickup tube. Any ideas?
