Subject: What Roast is Intelligensia Black Cat Organic - Help!?
 

my brother had a groupon & got 12 oz whole bean black cat organic & i cant find anywhere what type of roast it is, i just want to make sure its not dark because i have a superautomatic espresso machine which youre not supposed to use dark beans on.  so can anyone tell me for sure.  thanks!

On the many times I have had black cat, it has never been more than a city+, you should be fine. It is a very good coffee, you will enjoy it.

I use it all of the time.  I have experimented with other varieties but black cat organic is my favorite.  I do not consider it to be dark.  enjoy.
