New machine is in the mail (hooray!) and I would like to hear how you all think I should get rid of my old Estro Vapore machine (Saeco rio vapore, Starbucks Barista old models...all the same PPF machines from before ESEs were around so no adaptor or other portafilter stuffs). Originally I was just going to go ahead and ebay it, used machines in good condition like mine seemed to sell at maybe $80 or so. I've also taken everything apart to do a thorough decalcification on it. The only problem is that just last week the power button broke on me, a replacement is about $25 shipped. So I can invest $25, sell at $80 (estimate), and net $55. Not really cutting into the costs of my current wish-list. Then I noticed someone who took apart their machine and is selling it part for part, at pretty high cost (almost that of new parts from Saeco). This is a pain in the butt for sure but I'm trying to squeeze every cent out of my current stuff so I can afford toys for this new hobby.
So what do you think? Sell as is in a "for parts" type listing, invest $25 and sell as a fully functional unit in good condition, or take it apart and sell it piecemeal?
Alternatively, if anyone would like to trade a Gaggia MDF or doserless Rancilio Rocky for an Estro Vapore...just let me know ;-) Just kiddin.

I'd auction it whole on ebay. Old Starbucks machines are great beginner machines and they go pretty quick. Invest and make it shine then sell. Better yet keep it as a back up in case your new toy needs TLC down the road.
