Do to limited counter height I would like to know how difficult it is to use the front loading water tank on Classic. Can't find any videos on it. Thanks

I do mine that way rather than pull the machine out from under the cupboard. Pull out the drip tray to empty it, pull out the 3-way drain down tube to the drip tray, and the tank comes forward. It is stopped by the silicone tubing to pump and from OPV and easily allows filling. When I want to wash the tank I do the same and lift the tubing out of the way.

It's not overly difficult, but it is a little bit of a pain. It's for the reason the other poster said, the tubes from the pump and opv hang into the tank so you have to lift them out. While not hard, it's also not that fun. However, I think it's the only machine in that price range that allows for the front loading like that. The Gaggia is pretty light though so picking it up and moving it forward is not that hard and I would argue is probably easier.

I leave the tank partially under, stopped by the silicone tubes and fill from the corner. It is far enough out to pour water from a container/pitcher while the tubes are still down. It is so easy that I do it preferentially.

It is not a problem to remove the tank. When you pull out the tank the short tube (returning water) takes care of itself. The long tube can be laid to rest along either side of the machine. When returning the full tank, replace the long tube. The short tube will replace itself as you push the tank in.
