Im really really new to coffeegeek and if this has been covered, perhaps someone can point to it for me.

I am wanting to offer people one on one Barista classes for actual cafe situations, not the TAFE generic style.

Does anybody know of what would be required by me permit wise if I already have a commecial premises etc. Do I need some sort of certificate?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am guessing Noosa is in Au. from a google search.
You are going to need to check with local to you government people. There is no way anyone on a world wide BBS can know the laws that pertain to you where you are located.

As to training, you may want to check Coffee Snobs http://coffeesnobs.com.au/ They are based in AU,  so you might be able to get some info that is more applicable to you in specific.
