Subject: Bugatti Diva - Filter/Tamper size

Hello!

I have a friend who has a Bugatti Diva Espresso Machine and I would like to give him a good coffee tamper as a b-day present.

So, my question is pretty straightforward: what size should the tamper be for this machine?

I looked on the Bugatti website but it is just plain crappy - without any useful information at all. I even managed to get a hold of the machine's instructions booklet and nowhere was it specified the size of the filter, let alone the tamper.

So if there are any Bugatti Diva users out who could tip me on this one, it'd be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Víctor.

Looked around, and found the info here on Coffeegeek.

The portafilter is 57mm in diameter.

Just interested, does this machine have a 3-way valve?

A nice tamper is a lovely gift.  I am sure your friend will be happy to get one.
