Just received my Vibiemme Double Domobar and am getting started with it. My first (and only -- so far) nit to pick? The stock triangular steam/water knobs just feel... well... cheapo! Pity, since the rest of the thing's a tank. Anybody have experience upgrading these and have a recommended replacement? My hands are big, so something bigger would be fantastic.
Guessing this is what you're referring to. Very nice looking stuff! I have to admit, though, (and I suppose this is blasphemous) that I'd be very happy with a bigger/textured pair of plastic knobs. I'm used to the big cylindrical knobs on my ECM, and so when I switch over to the Vibiemme, I feel like I'm going to break something.

+1 on cannonfodder.
Dave does very nice work (see my avatar for the set I have on my Duetto). He'll make what you want and work with you to produce something that looks good, fits your machine, and fits your hands. Of course, he's always got a backlog so be prepared to wait a couple of months til he gets to your order.
