Subject: Corner Mirror for V2B (and other machines)

I would like to come up with a mirror (or highly polished stainless) that is maybe 1.5 to 1.75 inches wide that can be placed on top of the drip tray (against the machine) and has its reflective surface at 45 angle so that I can see the extraction on the bottom of my naked PF without bending over and looking up.

I have been looking for a solution for a while. I would, of course, like it to have a nice look. I think for the benefit of looks, the reflective surface needs to be the same width as the machine.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'll tell you where I first got this idea. If you look at the Slayer, it has a trim piece at the back of the drip tray that sets at an angle. The first time I saw this, it looked like it was a reflective surface for the barista to see the extraction from the naked PF. I since I have decided that it is not polished enough for that, but I still like the idea.

The NS Aurelia II actually comes with a stainless bar designed to be a shot mirror.

I thought espressoparts sold a mirror (backed up by this: Click Here (www.home-barista.com)) but I can't seem to find it on their site anymore.

I might have to try picking up one of those little cameras to try something like this.  Only problem I could see is it getting dirty by an inevitable spritz.

Just another thing that makes me think I should invest in a metal brake for the garage. :P
