Need some help/advice/assistance!!

I "inherited" a FCS 3 group about 3 months ago and have started the refurbishing process.  The machine had been sitting for at least a couple of years and is in pretty bad shape.  I have ZERO experience with espresso machines, however, I am very mechanically inclined and have hopes of bringing this machine back to life rather quickly.  I've be reading up and researching, but there's really not a ton out there on the FSC.  I have managed to compile most of the part schematics... But I have never seen one of these operate and am relying solely on "theory" So here is some of my questions..

Can anyone breakdown the operating procedure for the FCS (this is a big ask, but I would really appreciate it).  When I say that I have no experience... I mean no experience!!  Some questions I have around operation:  how does the auto fill system work? When is the manual fill lever used?  When extracting a shot (hope that's the right terminology), when do you rotate the lever back up to the rest position.

Where can I get a wiring schematic? I have disassembled most the machine and starters the descale process, however I have resisted the urge to pull off the wiring harness as I don't have a schematic to reference.

Thanks in advance for any feedback .

Mike

You should be able to find a user manual that explains the operation of the machine on the manufacturer's website. Electrical schematics are usually hard to come by. Some manufacturers only include them in the service manual. But check here. You might find something that is close enough.

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it.  The manufactures website has every unit except for the FCS... Ill keep looking.  Ordered some parts from Michaelo yesterday and asked them if they had one, well see.
