Yes the BZ02 and rocket IMO will produce identical shots. Boiler size and heater size is huge so you will have good temp stability with both machines. For espresso if you have a good technique in place, brew temp is spot on (temp surf or PID) ang grind is good you will get a VERY good shot comparable to either larger machine. As for frothing I think the Silvia's steam is a bit wet. You will get much dryer and more powerful steam with a larger machine like the BZ02 or Rocket.

LOL! I wouldn't take it personally. They mean semi auto you have to turn the brew on with a switch and with the auto (volumetric) you can program each button to brew different amounts. The extra $300 is the flow meters and electrical needed to make it auto. One replacement flow meter can cost up to $150 so it's cost well spent. Worth it if you really want that option. Personally volumetric would make sense if I was pushing out a ton of espresso's and other drinks at a time.

Volumetric dosing is a personal decision, semi or auto, one is not better than the other. That said, I will only go back to semi auto, kicking, screaming and fingernail marks in the concrete. I love the convience of VD. It makes you VERY consistent shot to shot as the water is measured for each shot, it makes dialing in the grinder sooooooo much easier and you have no issues with different shape cups or sizes of cups, your shots are always the same. UH, plumb in is also on a must have list for me....... YMMV!
