Will drinking coffee going to shorten my life?

No, this is a label that is required in the state of Ca. that warns you if there is anything in the product that even remotely but nearly never will ever do any harm to you. It was put there by the politically correct nagging ninnies. The label is all over the place in the state from the gas pump on your car to things like your espresso brewer. Most likely, it is in reference to the brass in the group head one component of which is lead to help with machining processes. I think you would need to drink gallons an hour for the rest of your life and when you die of old age, you won't care any more either.

Mod note, I deleted the two other identical threads started by the OP.

sorry for double post.

Weird thought, why a Cali label is on a box that is made in Italy and I'm on the east coast.  Never been to Cali so never seen this label

Seriously?  That photo is for real?  Does it come in braille too for the blind?

Whatever happened to common sense.  Oh thats right, you can't legislate that.  No money in that for the crooked  politicians.

Len - I don't have time to make something like that up ;)

Seriously, a variation of that sign has been in every apartment complex I've lived in since who knows when. Often it is there because at some point in time, every building has had lead (in paint) or asbestos (in insulation and other things) and so as a catch-all these signs are everywhere.

Len, do a Google image search for prop 65 and see what comes up.  Almost every business in the state has one of these warnings.  This state passed this proposition to warn people about cancer causing products but all that it did was make people realize that literally everything causes cancer in one study or another so no matter what you do yuo have the same chance of getting cancer.  Regarding the OP, many times companies only want to produce one piece of packaging for the US so they make it California compliant.  If you think this is bad you should look at an auto parts catalog.
