Posted Wed Aug 14, 2013, 9:36pm Subject: Looking for advice on getting QuickMill Alexia with PID
It appears there used to be two PID options - one from Chris directly which appears to be from MLG and one from HiTechExpresso which is linked to from Chris' site. The MLG also does not appear to be offerred any more.
Can someone please tell me the difference between these PID units? I contacted Chris and the respondant answered that they are not real familiar with the PID option currenly avaialble from Dave at hightechespresso uses. I will be reaching out to Dave shortly, but would be very intersted and truly apprecate some opinions from the community..
What is the difference between the two, if any? Any differences in the installation process that is used (e.g. insulation for the boiler, quality of the work, service and support) How have these devices fared over the years, any problems?
