For what its worth, I have ordered a few things from them including a Bezzera grinder over 2 years ago, and an espresso machine recently.  I was researching an espresso machine for a long time, they were helpful and patient with all my questions before buying.  Just before Christmas I took delivery of an Alex Duetto.  I hope that your buying experience will mirror mine:  The invoicing was as agreed, and they kept me informed regarding expected arrival since they were initially backordered.  The Duetto arrived double boxed, in perfect shape, and required no adjustments.  (They also have a connection with Chris Coffee, which further boosts my confidence should any follow up service be required.)

Good luck with your Alexia, and for sure let us know how it goes.

Derek

Update...near 4 yrs later.

They honoured any issue I had encountered during the warranty period.

I had no problems whatsoever.

Highly recommended.

"this purchase was online and not local-everything had to be shipped back and forth"

"it was timely and all communication was clear over the phone"
