Subject: Astoria Argenta ?

New at this ,I have a Astoria argenta Single group machine. I just replaced the pump this is the first time it has worked in a few months. Got this from a friend. This is also my first machine. When I turn the switch on to heat the boiler the pump comes on for about 20 sec. or so and shuts off then the lights on the 4 dispensing and program/ stop buttons all flash and will keep flashing. None of the buttons function.  I cannot find anything in the service manual about this, does this mean anything? If I use the dispense switch it works.   Help/Thanks

It sounds like an error is being reported to the brain box or the box is bad. The flashing of all the lights is an error signal.

You may want to contact the Astoria USA. They would know best how to approach the problem you are having.

Well found out the level probe on the boiler was not seeing a level. Thought the boiler was empty. when the boiler did actually have water in it. Put a jumper wire across the probe to ground and now it thinks the boiler is full. no flashing lights. will be pulling the probe for a cleaning or replacement. Thanks
