]]Of course my grinder and the rest of the gear (including grinder) will not be here until tomorrow. The Walnut wood panels are well worth their price, as they transform the machine into a piece of art.   I'm looking forward to my first Espresso with her.

I bet you are! As much as I love my Duetto, I have to confess your Vivaldi looks better, and I'm sure you're going to make wonderful espresso with it.

The Duetto (3.0) was my 2nd choice.  I knew either machine I would be happy with and after a LOT of research, I presented the options to my wife, and she ultimately picked the Vivaldi (but I did as well).  It fits perfectly where I have it, and when we build/move, It will be on an Island visible from different angles.  It really is pleasing to look at from every angle.  Gorgeous Italian design.

Wow, I love the grain pattern!

I too presented my wife with the option of an E61 machine or the MVII. She said the E61 with all the stainless looked too industrial so the MVII won out. I have the same combo so I know you'll be pulling nice shots tomorrow. :)

I will post some better pics when I get a chance as well.  I was so excited to see it and snapped those real quick in sub par lighting.  My wife said the same thing, "too industrial", that's crazy.  I knew I would have been happy with any of the final machines I picked out, but my house is filled with art, most contemporary, and I love the lines on the Vivaldi, it just fits in. Hopefully I set the timer up right, we will find out in the morning.  I will post a review after I am all caffeinated. :)
