The pump in my Sylvia 3 sometimes doesn't work if the machine has been on for a while. Sometimes I flip the switch and nothing happens, or it quits in the middle of a shot. If I turn off the machine and let it cool for a while and then try again, it is ok for a while. But the frequency has been increasing, and I suspect it will quit for good sooner or later. I live in Thailand, and sending it somewhere for service would be expensive and a hassle. If it were possible to order and install a part myself, I'd like to try. (I've already voided any warranty that might remain by installing an Auber PID. The problem pre-existed that installation, so I have no reason to suspect the Auber.) Is this a known problem? Or any guesses as to which part (or connection?) might be at fault? I don't think it's the pump, because it is fine after a rest. And I don't suspect the switch on the front of the machine, because the light still comes on. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
