Subject: Bezzera BZ02  thermostat not working.

Hi all,

I hope I can fix this myself some how. My  thermostat on my machine just stopped working.
I've looked at the manual and there is no mention of trouble shooting that.

Anyone here know if I can do something on my end? I would appreciate any help.
Thank you.

This is the machine I have.

That is a nice machine you have there.

Why do you think the "thermostat" isn't working?

As this is a Heat eXchanger machine, you don't have a thermostat, you have a pressurestat.

What is the machine doing?

Is it not getting hot at all?

Is it not stopping the heater and goes into a runaway heating situation?

More info from you is need to even establish a place to start!

PS, you have a high temp safety switch on that machine, it is possible that it has tripped for some reason, this would turn the heater off and prevent it from turning back on. It should have a red reset button in the center of the device. If you push it, it will click back on.

Then you need to find out why it tripped in the first place.

Yes sorry, its the pressurestat. Completely set at the bottom.
The water dispenses, but its not hot. The buttons all light up.
All the dispense buttons work.

I couldn't find a red button at the bottom, is it on the little black box at the bottom?
Do I have to unscrew the bottom of that box?

Thank you for your help. I hope that's all it is.

Leoni.

The reset is not on the pstat. It is a seperate device mounted to the boiler. There should be 2 wires on it. And it is most often seen with one wire going to the heater.

Here is a picture of the machine with the top opened and the boiler exposed.
I can't seem to find the reset button on it. I can see the two wires but where
the button is, I just can't seem to see it.

Thanks for your help.

I think this is the part you are looking for, at least it is what I have found for your machine.
