Anyone else get a 2 hole steam tip? Mine has a 2 hole tip and I cant find a 4 hole in the packaging, so I assume this is an error?

Edit: Talked to CCS and they said it was packed in one of the zip lock bags. I opened it right in the middle of my living room and have not thrown away any of the packaging and I cant find the 4 hole tip... they are going to mail me one.

My machine only has a two hole steam tip. It came attached. No other one was in the packaging.

They must have forgot to put them in... they told me they were usually packaged in a zip lock bag, but I have saved every ounce of my packaging and I can't find it.

I called them and they are going to ship me one Tuesday... I am sure they will get it to you if you let them know.

Bummer about the four hole tip, that's what I was looking most forward to. Janice did you get a four hole tip? I'm wondering if there are some that are missing it, or if all are missing it.

They will send 'ya one by snail mail..... Maybe it wont take as long to get the tip as it takes UPS to bring you the machine.

Oh yeah Dean I'll definitely contact them if I don't get one. The reason I was asking JaniceAnn (and actually all U.S. CCS customers who ordered the V2B) if she got one is to see if this was a sporadic omission or a blanket one. If no one got theirs, I may fire off an email asking for one to be mailed even in advance of my machine coming (slated to arrive next week). But if some got the tip while others don't, they'll likely ask me to wait for mine to arrive and confirming that it didn't come with one before they ship one to me.

Can't say yet about the tips. My machine was supposed to ship this week but hasn't yet. I suppose the earliest I can hope for now is Tuesday, due to Labor Day. Oh well, at least the shipping should be quick, since I'm in New York.

Just pulled my first shots... sinked the first one... second one was almost text book perfect on yield, time, and had nice dark crema.

My first impression is that the shot is pretty good (really good actually) but my steamed milk needs some work. I am, of course, using the two hole tip. This machine steams much faster than my old one so I am sure I will need to adjust my technique.

I have the two hole tip too.

My husband and I both went through the boxes thoroughly and didn't find the four hole tip.  I emailed Mary to ask if they would send me one but I won't hear back until Tuesday, I'm sure.

I haven't had any luck steaming milk with the two hole tip so the four hole should be an improvement.

As I suspected, and mentioned on this thread, I burned my finger on the E61 group.  It hurts but isn't a really bad burn.  I need to remember that that thing is super hot!

You will get better on your milk even if you use the 2 hole tip. I have only made three milk drinks and I am already better. The steamer is like 4 times faster than my old machine... so I am sure I will be learning a few more days.

As for the machine in general... I am already happy I bought it! I can't believe how much faster and easier it is to get a drink finished with this machine. I don't think running on 15 amp will be any issue at all unless your going to create more than 3 or 4 milk based drinks at a time. The way I use the machine 15 amps will never be an issue as long as I have the time to pre-heat.

I have been following this thread from the beginning.  I was going to pull the triger on this one but backed out at the last minute.... regrets.

I would love to hear more about your experience with the DB.  I am probably going to buy this one a couple of months down the road but for now any comments or observations you have made would be welcome.

How are the shots pulling?

Any infor would be beautirul to hear.

Thanks guys and gals.
