Sorry; no optical advice here. Just the OP checking in. I believe it'll be a Lelit. Now pondering whether to spring for the PID version. Also, wavering between the Lelit grinder (I'll only be making espresso drinks) or the much recommended Vario. Likely ordering from 1st Line maņana (package deals available), so if you've got a strong opinion I'd more than welcome it. Thank you all once again.
There is a package with the Vario W and the Lelit w/PID. My budget is a distant memory. Waiting for a senior member to tell me that the Lelit grinder is more than adequate for espresso only grinds. Seems highly thought of.
lelit grinder is really fine as an espresso only grinder.Personal experience over three years. If you think you will be getting into other than espresso, certainly the Vario is well thought of or you can go a less espensive route if pour over, french press, vac pot, chemex or old sweat sock dunked in a coffee pot becomes an interest. Mmmm, sweat sock coffee. The heart leaps up!
