So, just started at this mom/pop shop. We use the full auto in the drive thru, and I immediately noticed that we're getting at most a 15 second pull on a double shot, closer to 11 on single, if that. I opened it up, and the grinder was set at right around 7 3/4. I started trying to dial in my grind, and took it to 0, with virtually no change. Set it to 1, and took it back to 9, with virtually no change. I still get at most a 15 second pull, regardless to how fine the dial is. What we're producing is, essentially, dishwater. It kills me every time I put out a cup with this $#!7. Thoughts? Is the machine a lost cause, or is there something I can do without necessarily "voiding the warranty", as it were.

Hi, your post has been seen. The trouble is that not many here have super auto machines, for the most part, we do not like the espresso you get from them. We DO have a few techs who hang out here so just wait a bit and possibly one of them will see your post and give you more info that you are looking for. Welcome to the board!

Thanks. I personally hate the things, much prefer even the disheveled La Cimbali we have up front, but ownership digs the full auto for the drive thru. Just want to get something passable coming out of it, rather than total unservable crap.
