To start up a small coffeeshop? To start using at home? It's a very good, commercial machine. I can't tell the age of it by just looking but it is probably about 20 years old. If it hasn't been overhauled in the past couple of years, it will need to be thoroughly checked over which could cost you a couple hundred dollars for a couple hours labour, and most likely it will need anywhere from minor overhaul to "Too much to even consider", perhaps $1000 - $3000 in service. Commercial machines need to well maintained to prevent them from deteriorating to a point where they're no longer worth looking after after a couple decades. When you see one of these big old formerly glorious commercial machines for sale for a couple hundred dollars it is because a technician has explained to the previous owner that it is no longer worth investing any more money in. But. If it is working well, and has been well maintained, then yes! It is a very good machine when in good shape.
