I have what the title states. Recently one group head started only emitting steam no water, I don't know much about restoring machines so I am hoping someone here does.

Is the pump turning on when you attempt to pull a shot? If so, does it sound the way it always has? And if so, do you see any water going into the drain pan?

Just got around to checking it. It does turn on. Sometimes a small amount of water comes out but it's mainly steam. Water does come from the drain tray when it is on. The second group head has no problems.

If you mean that water is going into (rather than from) the drain pan when you try to pull a shot, then you may have an obstruction in the heat exchanger. Most of the water pumped into the exchanger gets diverted to the drain and what little makes it through gets super-heated and turns into steam.
The obvious first step is to descale the heat exchanger.
