The Nomad™ is a revolutionary portable espresso machine. If you are a coffee lover you’ll love having the Nomad with you wherever you go. The Nomad makes the highest quality espresso possible, and it does this anywhere you have coffee and hot water. With the Nomad anyone can make great espresso like a skilled barista.
Maybe a little bit of an exaggeration, but an interesting device nonetheless. I have no idea whether it is feasible to get decent shots from this kind of machine.

I think this is a really neat idea. Although, since I prefer mostly milk drinks I think I'll have to "suffer" with going to cafes while on vacation. :)

From their FAQ:
I am a skilled home barista. Can I use the Nomad without the True Crema Valve?
Yes. The True Crema Valve can be easily removed. Without the True Crema Valve, like any other professional or commercial espresso machine the results will depend upon proper calibration of the grind and skilled tamping technique. The True Crema Valve reduces the requirements of expensive coffee mills and skilled technique. This means now everyone can pull a great shot of espresso with the Nomad.
It sounds like the TCV is their version of a PPF. On my old Starbucks Barista, I simply ordered a non-pressurized portafilter, and it sounds like in this case, you can simply remove the True Crema Valve.
