Well, it was 30 minutes.  All quotes were from one thread.  I had several windows open.  I've worked with computers since 1968 so I do have a few tricks up my sleeve.  Peace.

So about 20 seconds per quote, allowing for fried chicken eating?  That explains why you lost the plot around quote number 4 or so.

This has been the most entertaining thread in a long time. IMO

Yes I put the BDB and CC1 in the same class, yes i have a reason for leaving SCG off my list, yes it is my opinion, yes it is subjective as opinions are by definition, no don't start a flame war because you disagree.

Indeed it has. When cuz demands we stay on topic, you know we're down the rabbit hole.

OK.

Enough.

We all get and understand that some people here are / was / are again a Breville fanboy. We all get that Breville went above and beyond to help some people out. We all get that some members in these Breville threads are prone to potentially wild boasts, comments, hyperbole, and demonstrations of having a lot of time on their hands.

But the last several dozen posts are just a collection of pissing matches, personal commentary, and very little to actually do with the machine. The subtle vitriol from the Breville Owners thread seems to have moved here.

I said before I'm fed up with how that thread (and now this one) has been going, and I'm taking some actions today to calm it down. No strikes issued, no posts removed, but a couple of members are going to need a few days away from the forum to hopefully calm down, let this pass and come back and just talk about the machine and its ups and downs.

I want a complete halt to any kind of discussions, in this thread, about personal things. If I don't get it, this thread will be locked, and I'll do more than just issue a few time outs.

Regards

Mark

And... back on topic.

There is a new Breville machine in the works, but I can tell you that anyone who knows anything about this machine is most likely under an NDA, and as such, cannot publicly or privately discuss the machine. I saw some speculation back a page or two ago.

Yes, and buying from the wrong dealer got me in to the problem in the first place. When you're an early adopter, you need warranty protection, that's just the way things are.

Will your replacement BDB come with a warranty ?

Hey So here is an update.
I went back to the dealer and they replaced the machine with onotherone, supposely new as they told me the benchmark them before they send them,
So I take it back home set it up and not only the same sound is there but small drip coming out of a piecw of metal in the center of the machine.
Can you beleive this?? I am going to start a new thread wanting to know if all the R58 make this noise and then send an email to the owner of rocket telling him his machines are not performing as they should.
I will ask for my money back and look for a differen machine. Izzo maybe but will look at the brewtus.
