Hi everyone,
I am newbie here and just registered. This is my first post and need your help. I purchased a Pasquini Livia 90 Automatic from a local guy recently. The Steamer, hot water and pressure gauge works fine, but no water comes out from the group/brewhead. The local guy thought it is the 3-way solenoid valve issue which I kindly agreed with him based on my reading. After bringing the machine back to home, I called the Pasquini tech support and did few tests with the tech's help. We found the solonoid valve didn't get 110v. I used an electrical meter to measure the voltage and am not sure if I measured it correctly since I never used the tool before. The tech wants to make sure the cpu board is fine before doing further investigation. He asked me to ship the CPU board to him for disgnosis. I don't know how to take the CPU board off from the machine!

I wish I could do more than offer moral support but I am pretty far away from you. Take lots of pictures before you start and at every step of your project. It does sound a lot like a computer issue and if you have taken readings already, you should know which component you need to remove. It pretty much is take everything off that is holding it in place.
Good luck!

Can't stress enough how important good photos are in situations like this! I've taken enough things apart for the first time to know to take an excess of photos in different zooms and from multiple angles to know well first hand how extremely helpful they are when you get to the reassemble stage. You tend to only need a couple to be sure you got it back together right, but unfortunately you won't know ahead of time which ones they will be. Hence, overkill with the camera is essential.

Thank you for your replies. I don't know how to take everything off and am afraid that I can put everything back by myself. I took 9 wire plugs off from the cpu board and couldn't put them back correctly. I never thought about to take pictures and was nervious too.
I read an article about "refurbinish Pasquini Livia 90" and got inspiration from. But I overestimted my skill set. :(

You might be able to find a photo showing the proper connections on the web, or maybe that tech you spoke to could snap a few for you from another machine. Good luck! I certainly can guess how you feel. Once you've gotten past this you will know how to do it :)

I tried to search a photo on the web without luck. I have spent many hours with the tech. At this moment, I don't feel confident to do this by myself. Thank you for your encourage words and this is the most difficult time for me. I need someone to guide me on this journey and make the machine work. I would like to make a clear statement that I am fully responsible for this machine if things don't work. Thanks.

I have photos of the connections on my CPU before I removed them - they're a bit big to upload here but I can send them direct if you like or upload them somewhere you can pick them up.
