Hey all, just curious if anyone here has had an occasion to use both a CC1 and a Silvia V3, and what their impressions were? I have read all of the threads regarding the CC1, and watched the review on SCG, but I'm looking for opinion s here. Specifically, if we compare Apples to Apples and assume the Silvia is PID' d, which one would you choose?

Used a pid'd Silvia quite a few times, prefer the CC1 over it. You can't really go wrong, just a pid'd Silvia new get's into entry H/X territory which ixnays it imo lol. But I like the unique looks of the CC1, the slick interface for the pid, and the separate thermo for steaming which makes switching fast for a sbdu machine and endless steam long as there is water (have a couple people over and making milk drinks on the Silvia is a slow chore but fine for one or two people). Personally I'd take a Gaggia Classic and PID it over the Silvia and for quite cheaper and have just as stout a machine.
