The decision's been made! My heart wanted to keep the Elektra - it's a stunner, it's an investment and it makes the better shots. But the reality is that I use (and more importantly allow others to use) the Salvatore on a daily basis. There's no way that I'd let idiots touch the Elektra but the Salvatore's built to take casual abuse. So, the Elektra's going up for sale. I'll post it here in the Buy/Sell forum. I've thought long and hard about the price. It seems to me that regular MCSAs fetch 1000-1200 and the bases (when they come up, which isn't often) seem to make 200-250. On the other hand, this one's unique. Utterly original and perfect working order set from 1988. In a perfect world, I'd love to show it off to the buyer, here in Los Angeles. As a second choice, I'll make a video of it making shots, producing steam and so on. I'll sort out packing and shipping with the buyer. Ho hum. It doesn't make me happy but I can't keep them both.
