I could probably read about this forever, but I thought I'd ask other Duetto 2/3 owners here.
So far, I've been using my machine for about a month now, "Out of the box".
According to the brew pressure gauge, extractions happen at 10 bar. Locking in a portafilter with a blind basket results in 10.5 bar reading.
This is the way the machine was delivered to me and it makes great coffee. However, after going through about 2.5 kg of coffee, I've noticed some coffees are much more prone to channeling than others. Doing a 2 second pre-infusion seems to help, but before I start doing things like WDT or grinding finer with 13-14 gram doses in order to avoid it, I wonder if I should lower the brew pressure so it reads 9.5 bar with a blind portafilter to lessen the possibility of channeling?
For the people who have adjusted the brew pressure on their Duetto 2/3, What were your results? What did your machine do when "stock"?
Garbage In, Garbage Out, for every step of the process. From Beans to grinder, grounds to machine, coffee to cup.

I stay to right at 9 to 9.5 bar, regardless of the machine you pull the espresso with, pressure is pressure and the beans don't know who made the machine. If you don't like the taste, change the settings. If it is only channeling I would look at what you are doing in the prep of the shot.
