Hey D4F!
I adjusted my OPV this weekend. Got it to slightly over 10 bar static pressure and then I got busy with other stuff. Now I get 2x 1oz in about 20 - 25 seconds and the crema is much better too (I went back to grinding my own in the modded Skerton). Might open it up again and turn in a smidgen counter-clockwise to get the pressure down a touch further.
Really good mod, all Gaggia owners should really do this.
Next up is a Iberital MC2 auto grinder and then the PID!

Great to hear that you are up and running well. 10 static is about right. I used an adjustable valve and tried static vs similated puck flow. 10 static is fine, but play with the pressure and see what you like.
