Sorry about that Jim.  Should have had my glasses on before I read the OP.

No worries! To make matters worse, Jim at 1st in Coffee belonged to the same fraternal organization as I did in college, except he was in a different school. He may be older, but we started 1st-line first. :)

I reviewed your recomendations and I ordered a Saeco Xelsis Stainless Steel Product Price: $2,999.00.

I'm trying to fathom the quantum reality in which someone on this forum recommended a $3000 superauto to anyone.

I don't think there's anybody on this forum of coffee gourmets who would recommend buying any super automatic without a caveat. After all we all know that those machines are all about convenience and less about espresso quality. Maybe the OP just followed an advertising link, which is not an endorsement or recommendation.

I did find a reference to that machine, see my link.

I also doubt ANYINE would advise any visitor to buy a super auto AND this rant thread was the OPs first post so they did not ASK FOR A RECOMMENDATION  they just read something and took it as an endorcement when it was no such thing.

OP hasn't weighed in since the first post. I say we take this thread out back, feed it a couple of sugar cubes, and put it out of its misery.

I know, right? I think OP may have misunderstood something, for example, a support advertisement as a review or recommendation.

I second the notion to put this thread out of its misery.

I motion we institute a "troll" button on the first ten posts of new members.   ;-V
