Yes Oscar can be back flushed, yes it does have a 3 way solenoid. Click Here (www.nuovasimonelliusa.com) part#04100037. Never could read the hydraulic plan so could not say if it includes the 3way.
I back flush with water after every session to clear loose grinds and back flush with detergent once a week or after heavy use. After a detergent back flush I take the diffuser and shower screen off and soak int back flush detergent to get the built up oil off. The detergent when back flushing is cleaning areas in the group, 3way valve, the opv, and lines to the drip tray.
