We have just purchased one of these espresso machines. Great lover of coffee but new to replicating great espresso's at home. We are, at this stage, a little unsure of the Kitchenaid and are struggling a little with producing a great crema. Experimentation continues with grind and tamping technique!
I am looking to purchase a bottomless portafilter and am a little unsure of what I should buy. Would I be right in saying that a Gaggia Baby bottomless portafilter would be suitable for my Kitchenaid?

Yes, a Gaggia portafilter will fit. I used to use a Gaggia Carezza portafilter on mine that my husband made bottomless for me. I think all the Gaggia portafilters are the same.
