Received my new Gaggia Classic Expresso machine, plugged in and discovered there was no power to machine. My husband tested the outlet and cord and there was power going into machine. So I promptly ask for a return and the company sent me another Gaggia Classic Machine. The new machine did the same thing!! Am I doing something wrong? What are the chances that both machines are not working? Can anyone help me?

Welcome to CG. I assume that if your husband can test the outlet and cord that he has and can use a voltmeter or DMM. If so, you can easily remove the top and see if there any loose wires and check to see that there is power to the fromt power switch. Easy to send back, but that does not seem to solve the problem. This wiring diagram may help.
