Hi I have just upgraded to the new Rocket Giotto Premium Plus V2 which is making a beautiful espresso shot....however I am having trouble texturing milk for a Cafe latte? I have followed the instructions in the instruction book....have watched the DVD.....somehow I seem to get mainly super hot milk with a bit of frothy milk on the top. I am really wanting a textured milk the consistency of wet paint....but it is elusive!!
I am realistic this will be a lifetime relationship and it will happen in time!!.....however any tips will be welcome

From what machine did you upgrade to your Giotto? If it's some SBDU, the larger steaming power of the Giotto will probably overwhelming at first. Be patient and keep trying. It's most certainly not a defective machine. Maybe this Milk Frothing Guide will be helpful, too.

With the Giotto it should take about 15 to 20 seconds to froth a 500 ml pitcher of milk. So you have to work really fast. How many holes does the tip of your steam wand have? Older models used to have three, but I think the V2 has only two.
