I have a lot of old beans in my Jura J9 is there an easy way to get them out with out simply running them through the machine? The manual isn't very helpful.

Vacuum hose to suck out what you can from the top of the grinder throat in the bean hopper, than run the grinder to ditch the ones the vacuum can't get. Then put in your fresh beans and pull a shot or two that you'll toss, just to get the very last of the old beans moved out of the system.
When I still had the Gaggia Synchrony Digital, I'd pull the hopper floor out, get the burrs out and give them a good cleaning, too, but have no idea how you'd do that on the J9, not having one to look at. Unfortunately, you can't really use something like Grindz or one of the other burr cleaning pellet-type cleaners on a super-auto.
