I have decided that I want to turn my CC1 on about 45 minutes before I get out of bed in the morning. Been looking around and find the picking slim for a decent timer. I did find the one: Honeywell 1800 watt timer

It might do the trick. I just found an old school timer lying around the house. It has little switches to turn on or off the machine at 15 minute intervals. No electronics, just old school and it works fine.

There are many options and also a recent thread on H-B. I believe someone reported success with the Honeywell but there are cheaper options also. I added a timer to my QM67, makes we wonder why I never did it on my Silvia, it has been great!

One of the reasons I was looking at the Honeywell was because I was concerned that many of the timers that plug directly into the wall might block both of my receptacles. Seems like you can't get too many plug-ins on the cabinet top, so I was going for a timer that wouldn't be an issue. The downside is the fact that I have to tuck that timer in behind the coffee maker to hide it.
The one I have does not cover both outlets at the receptacle.
Also, something else to consider...if you're going to leave it on a timer, many people suggest installing a surge suppressor. Chris' coffee service offers a pretty inexpensive small Belkin one that plugs right into the receptacle and then you plug the timer right into it.
