Thanks for the heads up. When considering a machine which is past the $2000 mark and we're into "Large appliance" territory here, reliability for me is absolutely paramount. If the machine isn't designed with that in mind, I'm not interested in buying one.

So the price should not be too far from a BZ99's price.
Whatever -- I'm so confused about what you want in a machine, and where you're looking, that I have no idea what to suggest/recommend. Besides, many of the prices you've mentioned here are very high compared to what I find being sold in Canada . . . .
I'm sorry if I conveyed that I was. I'm not.. I just couldn't find any other vendors in Canada which sold this machine, it seems to me like they're primarily sold in Europe and other 220v countries and the ones that we do get over here have a conversion to 110 volt. I was just using an Australian vendor as a price reference.

No problem. I apologize for the confusion. I think I've already made my decision as to what I'm looking for. Magister machine are off the table for me anyway.
I've posted a lot of my requirements in another thread and the Magister machines just simply don't meet them, both on features, build engineering and price.
FYI, I have my heart set on the Izzo Alex II Duetto or the Alex II HX PID. A bit pricey, but compared to Magisters, it presents considerably better value for about the same price.
