I have recently acquired an ELEBAK sr1 CORSICO-M1 Mod 1002 electric powered espresso machine but unfortunately the user manual or any other documentation was missing. I have searched extensively for information and can find plenty for the stove top version but not this electric one. Has anyone owned or used one of these machines, as any information or knowledge about this machine that they could kindly pass on would be greatly appreciated?

Hi Wayne,
I have the exact same machine. I don't have a user manual ether. I've lernt along the way how to avoid burns and explosions.
I've worked in quite a few restaurants and cafes using comercial machines(former chef). The Elebak can produce just as good a coffee as any comercial unit.

Hi Peter,
Thanks very much for your reply. It was so long ago that I posted the request that I thought I must have been the only person to have one of these.
I figured out how it works and then realized that we were missing some vital components and was unable to locate a source for their replacement, so decided that we needed to buy another machine, sadly.
Since then we have been on a journey that many people have traveled, and that is we have bought and sold or blown up a few machines until we found what suited us.
Currently enjoying great coffee from our Via Venezia, but still have the Elebak, just love the retro look of it and would like to restore it to working order if possible.
I am missing the filters for the shot handle, the base assembly and new seals would probably be an advantage.
Do you know if there is still a supplier for parts on these machines?
