Subject: Gaggia Espresso Pure not making steam - HELP

Guys, I have a Gaggia Espresso Pure and was working fine until this Morning it just does not want to produce steam. I press the steam button and it does not heat the water for steam. Here is the situation exactly for your analysis:

I turned the machine on.
I left it on for quite a while, maybe 10 to 15 minutes.
I brewed coffee normally.
I pressed the steam button and it just won't heat.
I tried over and over and nothing no heating.

Please help me with this situation. I'm currently letting it cool down and I'll try again.

If you power the machine off and let it cool, then put it in steam mode and power it on does it heat up at all?

If not it could be a switch / thermostat problem - how old is the machine?
