Subject: Just bought an Ascaso Duo on ebay. What should I look out for when it arrives?

Hello,

I just purchased an Ascaso Duo on ebay. It was made in 2009 and from the poster's photos it looks great.
Price paid was 140 including postage and seeing as this machine retails between 700-800 I couldn't say no really...
Part of the reason for the low price is because the item was not properly listed -> the listing title has Ascaso misspelt as Ascasco and espresso misspelt as expresso so I don't think many people could find it.

Anyway - the real question I have for you...
It has not arrived yet, but when it does, what should I look for in order to tell that I've not bought a ringer? Gasket seal, pf basket, open up the boiler to check for scale, check everything works, anything else?

The seller says that if it isn't as described then he will accept a return... (it was described as being in "excellent used condition") Anyway - your thoughts on the what the worst case scenario might be would be appreciated...

Thanks in advance guys!
