Subject: Silly portafilter question - RELAX

I was thinking about getting an extra portafilter for my RELAX and now I find that none of the "normal" parts places (EPNW and WLL and Chris') list anything for Isomac machines (they just list E-61 parts).

I think that the portafilters I have are just like the E-61 type (even though the Relax doesn't have an E-61 Group), but I'm not perfectly sure.

Anyone know for sure?  (Thanks in advance)

Jon:  I know that the Relax has the same pfs as the Millenium.  I can say that much from experience.

Yep E-61 portafilters are what you need. That is what the relax uses.

Thanks guys!

marcus: I am LOVING using the Relax!!  Since she has
been in my life my espresso and coffee drinks are heavenly!!

She's teamed with a Mazzer Mini, dialed in just right...

My shots are always at least very good, sometimes incredible!!
I almost never throw a shot out, and about 1/2 are really superior.

I enjoyed your roast so much that I'm looking at roasters now.
I get good crema now, but not as much or as thick as I did when
I used the coffee I got from you.

So thanks again!!

PS - I already have some stuff on the way from EPNW, and I got
my extra Mazzer hopper there too (so thanks goes to terryz)

Thanks for the plug Jon!  Blending and roasting for espresso is the newest and most rewarding facet of the hobby for me now.  I am not an expert by any stretch, but reading the posts here is a quick path to competence.  With a 2lb buzzroaster and grill I do 1lb roasts (6rpm motor, but wanting a faster one).  The roast you got was 2 parts Brazil, 1 part each Sumatra and Uganda, preblended and roasted just into 2d crack.  Currently I'm experimenting with 4/3/2/1 of Brazil, Sumatra, Guatemala, Yemen Mocha.  So many coffees, so little time...  Extremely happy with the roasting drum.
