I've had my Gaggia Classic for nine months now and it's leaking from the steam wand and from the group head. Does anyone know of a single source for the group gasket and the steam valve?

Dripping from the wand steam leak?  Most drip some after time.  When was it descaled?  There was just a thread on the yahoo user group about Gaggia steam wand leak.  I have not had to do parts yet, so I am not sure where to get.

No, it's not dripping, it's pouring from the steam wand. I get a cup of water for each cup of espresso. I use bottled water, so I don't need to descale.

What kind of bottled water?  There's plenty of calcium carbonate in most bottled water, often more than the average tap water.

Thank you very much, DF4 and dyqik - I believe descaling has solved my problem. I was led astray by the Gaggia instructions, which under the heading "Descaling" state: "In hard water areas, minerals found in the water will accumulate and affect operation of the unit." Since I buy my water in 10 gallon bottles here in Mexico, I was under the mistaken belief that I would never have to descale. Now I know better. There has been no leakage from the portafilter and just drips from the steam wand.

I spoke too soon. It's leaking profusely again - from the portafilter and from the steam wand. Would a new gasket be in order?
