I guess I am just comfortable being in the early adopter camp since I don't have the patience necessarily to wait for the manufacturer to build a Version 2 of a product.  I also expect to buy a new machine every few years anyways so I am always expecting things to improve (hopefully) so I have more choices in the future.

One thing I will say though in favor of the QM67 is it already incorporates much of the "tweaks" QuickMill has added over the years to its entire line both externally as well as internally so I probably wouldn't go as far as saying it is totally "unproven".  Like calblacksmith said YMMV!  ;)

Those are good points.  That's the kind of conscious weighing of the risks I was talking about.
