Posted Fri Jun 15, 2012, 1:28pm Subject: Rancilio S20 Brew head low pressure, Leaky solenoid
Hello,
I have recently descaled a 2 group S20 and solved all leaks and issues on it except one, which I have been tinkering with for weeks to no end.
I am getting almost no water out of either brew head, it spits, and slightly more water is released from the solenoid valve as it runs. I re-soaked one head in citric acid and bought a new solenoid and valve for it but still no luck. I know power is getting to the solenoid but it just won't seal even with the new one. The pressure gauge is consistently reading close to 9 bars.
Could this be an electrical issue? A clog in a seperate line?
I just find it odd that they both do the exact same thing...
I would sincerely appreciate any help. I am determined to fix this machine but have wasted more time on this solenoid!
