a superautomatic is probably the best solution for everybody, in the specific situation and so much more if you take responsibility to keep it properly tuned.... but, hey,we are in afree world... Ciao, Pietro
I might agree with this if the super-auto was plumbed, commercial (Thermoplan 801, etc.), had a service contract, and these folks didn't care about their coffee...
Based on the OP though, It sounds like they do care. So I would find it hard to recommend any super-auto, especially the plastic cheesy ones that sell for the OP's budget.

direction the Breville BES900XL Semi Automatic Espresso Machine. The Breville looks like its getting great reviews but long term durability has me a bit hesitant. Any other machines we should be looking at and suitable for a small office that will probably grow to 20 people total in the next 3 years.
There are some videos on Amazon showing the Breville Smart Grinder and Breville BES900XL in operation (link below). The links are under the picture of the espresso machine.
Also one guy has posted some good information about the espresso machine, with updates as time has gone on. His remarks are under the review title: "HOLY ESPRESSO BATMAN! THIS THING IS MAGIC". He also has the Breville Smart Grinder. I have the Breville Smart grinder and like it alot; except I think I smoothed the motor spindle gear a bit with some underroasted beans once.
