The info you gave is a little sparse!
You did not say if you hear the pump start, try to start or what the other things the machine is doing.
Being a two group, I am going to assume that it has a rotary pump. It is quite common for these pumps to stick if they are not used for a while.
If you can hear the motor hum but not run then my guess is that the pump is stuck. If you are lucky, you might be able to take the pump head off of the motor and get it to turn with a wrench, if not and the motor runs without the pump head attached, you are likely looking at a new pump head.

There is no hum on the machine. I can get the wands to blow out steam and water comes out of the water tap but you dont hear it kick in at all. When you press the buttons to dispense water from the group head, nothing. The machine is 3 yrs old and has had 72 hours of usage so barley any use at all. Will call the engineers again tomorrow ...damn it!
